Chelsea Football club have confirmed that more than four members of Chelsea’s first team squad have contracted cornavirus.
It had been noted that a few familiar faces weren’t around when the players came back from their short break on Monday.
Some are speculating that the players that hadn’t turned up in training yet could be those currently with the virus. Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount all went together to Mykonos, and it seems a fair assumption they are the ones involved.
With four squad members now quarantining, Frank Lampard’s pre-season preparations have been thrown into disarray ahead of the Premier League’s return in mid-September.
